Shanghai · 1975
A 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up inspired by classic arcade action games: martial-arts combat, memorable enemies and powerful bosses in the rain-soaked streets of 1975 Shanghai.
01The Story
Shanghai, 1975. Kai Chen, a fighter from a former elite unit, returns to the city with one goal. His sister, Mei Lin, has been kidnapped by the Dragon gang, and the message is clear: if he wants to see her again, he has to come.
Kai knows who is behind it, and for the gang this is personal. Now every street, every dock and every back room between him and his sister belongs to the Dragon gang.
The Dragon never forgets.
02Gameplay
Punches, kicks, jump attacks and combos, with free movement in depth along the street.
Close in to grab an enemy, then drive in a knee strike or throw them into the crowd.
Block just before a hit lands to take no damage and leave your attacker wide open.
Pick up weapons from the street and unleash special attacks like the Dragon Rush.
Gang members adapt to your habits: they sidestep jump spam and flank constant blockers.
Rain, puddles and neon light that catches on every fighter, in 16-bit inspired pixel art.
03Bosses
Every district has its master. Each boss fights in several phases and grows more dangerous as the fight goes on.
04Locations
A night landing in the rain, and the first fight before Kai even leaves the airfield.
Narrow alleys, markets and lanterns under the Dragon gang's watch.
Containers, cranes and fog on the docks.
The gang's own quarter: clubs, gates and temples.
A storm over the tower. No way back.
